Beauport is a north eastern borough of Quebec City, Quebec, Canada and is located on the expansive and winding St. Lawrence River. The St. Lawrence large river flows southeast to northeast and connects the Great Lakes with the Atlantic Ocean, and thus serves as the primary drainage of the Great Lakes Basin. The St. Lawrence goes across the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. It also forms part of the boundary between Ontario, Canada, and the state New York. As of 2001, Beauport reported having a population was 72,813.
