Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Kevin Youkilis homered and drove in three runs to back another sturdy effort from Jon Lester in Bostons 9-3 win over the Orioles in the middle test of a three-game set. "I know his velocity has dropped a little bit because hes changed his arm angle," Red Sox catcher Kevin Cash said of Guthrie. Mike Cameron then laced a double into left-center field to plate Nava to make it a 7-1 game. Eric Patterson legged out an infield hit and Cameron was able to score when first baseman Ty Wiggintons throw to first base got past Mata trying to cover. Juan Samuel was ejected for the first time as the Orioles manager with Ortiz at the plate after an argument with the home plate umpire just before Big Papi doubled into left field to chase home Eric Patterson to push the Boston lead to 9-1. "I thought some calls could have gone our way," Samuel stated. "They were not going our way so I was a little vocal about it. The timing probably wasnt right."
