Regina, the capital of Saskatchewan, Canada, is a very diverse settlement. Not as old as some cities established in the 1600s, Regina was established in 1882. The name Regina is derived from the Latin word for queen as a tribute to the crown of England, Queen Victoria or Regina Victoria. Among the native Reginans referring to new visitors, it is often quoted that if you can say the name of the city without giggling, it earns you a bonus twelve points.

Regina was not blessed with topographical features as other planned cities of Canada were. Built on a treeless flat plain, the site served as a veritable tabula rasa or clean slate. The Wascana Creek provided a small feature that was later manipulated and dammed up to form a decorative lake to help improve the aesthetics of the look of the city. Regina storage must be full of outdoors equipment that is too big to store in the house. There are many parks trails around the city to use the equipment. However, it would be more likely to find golf equipment kept in Regina storage units. There are five municipal golf course located within Regina.

Another location of importance within Regina is the site of the mounted police academy. The unique officers are often referred to as Mounties and are a classic trademark of Canada. Two more universities for applied science and technology make their home in Regina. These two universities with their large populations of students can help to contribute to revenue brought to Regina storage facilities. Students who are not native to Regina and make their homes elsewhere when school is not in session have the need to store their belongings. It is often easier for a student to his or her belongings in storage near their school versus lugging all the extra items back home.
