It had been a few years since Jake had painted anything. After his mom passed away he stopped painting for a while. She was the one who believed in him and told him that he could do anything that he set his mind to. She helped him through school and all though he did not pursue his art degree she always loved the things that he would make for her. Her favorite thing was each holiday he would wrap her presents in brown paper and paint beautiful pictures on them for her.

This holiday season though was the first one that he thought about painting again. He was engaged to the most wonderful girl, and he wanted to do something really special for her. He went down to his Calgary Local Storage facility unit where he kept some of his art supplies. He was excited again about painting.

He got all of his art supplies set up on a table that he cleared. Jake brought the Christmas presents that he had already wrapped and began to paint them. He was happy to begin painting again. He knew that he should have never stopped painting. By the end of the day he had all of her presents painted and stored secretly away in his Calgary Local Storage unit.

On Christmas morning Jake brought out the presents that he had painted for her and she was so surprised. She loved the paintings and almost did not want to unwrap them because they were so beautiful.
