Glen could only think of one reason he would give up his so called man room in the house. It was just one of the spare rooms that had some couches and a big screen television that he and his friends would go to watch the games. Today however his couches were being moved into a Calgary Storage unit and the man room was being dismantled. He was giving it up for his baby.

His wife Nina had come to him last week and told him that she was pregnant with their first child. Glen had immediately gone into plan mode like he usually did with anything. He could already picture playing ball with his son or watching his daughter dance around the living room. They had one other guest room, but he was sure that with the first grandchild arriving on both sides of the family that there would be plenty of visitors to be using that room. That left him with his man room. He was happy to be giving it up for his son or daughter.

Granted he still had eight and a half months to turn it into a nursery, but Glen thought the sooner the better. So he had rented a Calgary Storage unit and moved everything out. He and Nina were going shopping next weekend to get baby furniture and all the stuff that you need for a new baby.

Some people say that they are nervous about becoming a first time parent, but not Glen. He was excited and could hardly wait to be a dad and he knew that Nina was going to be the best mommy. The due date could not come fast enough for him.
