Some people think that living in a house with forty other girls is too much drama and estrogen. Leslie however loved it. She loved the friendships and sisters that you make. She loved the Greek competition, and the way that they could put it all aside during the holidays to help those in need.

Leslie and her sisters were running a gift basket drive. They were going to fill one with food and one with toys for children. They were in charge of filling each basket and taking them down to the shelter that would have them out two days before Christmas.

To help them keep everything organized every year they rent a Toronto Local Storage facilities unit that was close to campus to help them. The kept all of the baskets in there to be filled as well as the tool and ribbons that they wrapped the baskets with. The food was kept there also because they only accepted non perishable items, and since their Toronto Local Storage unit was climate controlled they were safe.

They would begin taking donations in September or whenever people were able to donate. They had a huge canned food drive that included the entire campus at the end of November. Beginning the first week in December they would begin to assemble the baskets. It was a lot of work, but Leslie and the sisters loved how they were able to help the local community. It gave them an opportunity to help the less fortunate have a better holiday.
