Some people think that you would be crazy to have a convertible in Canada. Long cold winters and a short summer do not give you many days to ride around with the top down. For Gary and Judy though they loved to take the few warm days that they got to let the wind blow through their hair. After retiring Gary had bought an old convertible and worked on restoring it. All of his life he had been able to fix things even when other people thought that they were junk.

When Gary and Judy retired they bought a beautiful house in Calgary. It was close to their kids and most importantly their grandkids that they loved to spoil. There was a small one car garage on their house and that is where Gary rebuilt his convertible. Judy was happy for him, but hated that they had to park their regular car on the street. She was very happy when he got it completed.

The first time they took it our for a test drive it ran beautifully. It was starting to turn cold but they bundled up and put the top down for a few minutes. It was perfect.
