Liza

Liza was a self proclaimed book worm. Shed taught herself to read at the age of four and just never stopped. The library was a favorite haunt of hers, and she would spend hours nestled in one of the big comfy chairs next to the light of a window, poring over magazines and periodicals. She collected books, as well, and in the course of her twenty three years she had amassed a solid two thousand books and counting, from psychology journals and college vocabulary texts to reflexology manuals, science fiction short stories and vegetarian cook books.

Liza was preparing to move into a new apartment at the end of the month. Her new place was truly her dream loft, overlooking the artsy area of downtown that was chock full of galleries, specialty shops and, of course, booksellers. As much as she was going to love her new home, the square footage was less, and Liza knew that she was either going to have to downsize her book collection or move it somewhere else. That is the day that Liza decided to look into local furniture storage.

She did a quick Internet search and happened across a few locations that were near her new loft, settling on one that offered temperature controlled units to keep the pages of her beloved book collection crisp and clean. She had so many bookshelves to hold her books that she decided to turn her unit into a small library, and she ended up with several rows of bookcases all lined with her favorite tomes.

Even so, she still had boxes of books stacked floor to ceiling and a few of her own personal possessions that she didnt want to take with her to her new home, stashed in the corners. Once she was settled into her new loft apartment, she had three bookshelves designated to hold the books that she had to have near her, and the rest ended up in the local furniture storage unit. It was a perfect solution, enabling her to keep the collection that she loved so much and still make the most of her new, trendy loft.
