It seemed like in no time at all the little boy who would drive his little tikes car around their yard pretending to be a race car driver. Today was Calebs sixteenth birthday and Lacey was having trouble dealing with it. He was their only child and soon he would be on his own and taking on the world. She tried to pull herself together and have a great day of celebration.

Lacey went down stairs to begin cooking for the party they were having at noon with the family. This was just the beginning because later all of Calebs friends were coming over and her and her husband were going upstairs so as not to be the annoying parents while the teenagers hung out downstairs. For the family party they were having a barbeque and cake. For the party with the teens there were a dozen bags of pizza rolls, a mound of chips and dips, enough soda to fill a small pool, and cookies for dessert. Lacey and Caleb had already gone down to the movie store and rented a variety of movies for the party.

The family began to arrive and Laceys sisters helped her finish the meal. After dinner they opened the presents and while most of them were money he got a few c.ds from his cousins.
