After Halleys third child the doctor told her that she would probably not have any more children. Halley and her husband Andy were alright with that. They were just happy to have a family. It was a complete surprise three years later when Halley was sick a lot and went to the doctor to find out what was wrong. She and her doctor were completely surprised when it turned out that she was pregnant.

Her doctor wanted her to come in for extra visits so they could keep an eye on this miracle baby. Halley and Andy were in shock. They had gotten rid of all of the baby furniture when they thought that they could not have any more children. They did not have a nursery room any more either. They decided that they would turn their guest room into a nursery.

Andy would have to be in charge of moving and decorating. Halley was under strict orders to not exert herself. Andy was great, he found them a Calgary Local Storage unit to hold all of their guest room furniture. He got some of his friends to help him move all of the things going into the Calgary Local Storage unit. He painted the nursery and shopped for all of the baby stuff that they needed.

Halley was put on bed rest at her fifth month. The baby was doing well, but the doctor wanted to make sure that she was going to stay that way. She was so happy that Andy had every thing ready for the baby. It was amazing how he had taken care of everything. He had been cleaning the house and taking care of the kids while she was on rest.

Three and a half months later they welcomed a healthy baby girl.

Ava had received a text message that she was to be at the Calgary Local Storage unit at midnight. She was to show up alone. Ava was not worried although she was not sure who the text message was from but she had her suspicions.

Ava had been working undercover with the police for the past two years. Her cover was a good one and she was not worried that it had been blown. There were only a handful of cops who actually knew who she was and she trusted them all with her life. That was the reason that she was not worried about going down to the unit.

She got in her car that night and headed over to the Calgary Local Storage unit that she was directed to. She pulled into the parking lot and let her car idle. There were no other cars in the lot, but that did not mean there was no one here. She got out of her car and was listening to the snow crunch beneath her boots. She was walking towards one of the storage units that was partially opened. As she pulled open the door she heard a noise behind her.

Ava woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. That was going to be the last time that she read murder mysteries before she went to bed. It had given her crazy dreams for the past two nights. She was going to have to switch to something a little less thrilling.
