Never pretend to be a one of the self organizers if you are not good at organizing. It will not be beneficial to anyone. Let the moving and storing organizers do there job. If you are good at organizing you will find that you help make a move easier and much more efficient. There are pros and cons to both.

When you are looking to get things organized it is best to think ahead. Self organizers work best when they are well though out and planned meticulously. I am not so good at planning, that is to say that I do not like to do it. But my horoscope said I should get things that I have been putting off done today.
