Car owners, beware. Owning a car is about to become much more expensive. A new legislation called the HR 2454 Cap and Trade Bill that has just been run through by congress will tax all forms of energy consumption including coal and natural gas, raising all of our living expenses substantially. This bill is expected to cause an increase in the per gallon cost of gasoline to upwards of seven dollars a gallon across the board.

Though it is difficult to imagine paying over a hundred dollars for two thirds of a tank of gas, it looks as if things may be heading in that direction if this bill goes into effect and has the suspected ramifications that those opposed to the bill are anticipating. This attempt to discourage people from using energy wastefully by taxing us on it is supposed to entice us to use more alternative forms of energy that are more environmentally safe, thereby decreasing our carbon footprint on the planet and the atmosphere.

Perhaps our best bet is to just put our car into the local car storage and start riding public transportation, although the cost of taking public transportation will also rise in accordance with the rising costs of fuel. Local car storage facilities will be among those to see an increase in business as people begin walking, biking and carpooling more than ever. It is not difficult to imagine just how much such a large tax will affect the cost of just about everything in our daily lives. We rely on energy for everything from using the microwave to heat up our lunch to checking our email. Perhaps there are other ways to entice Americans to begin conserving our resources so as to avoid further damage to our atmosphere. It remains to be seen how far things will go before we are forced to consider these new options.

Theo had seen hard times before, and though this was yet another one, it was also one of the most perplexing times of his life, as he was basically living out of his Local RV Storage and various campgrounds and RV hook up sites. After losing his job during the economic crisis that was taking hundreds of thousands out of the American work force, Theo was really just kinda numb about the whole thing. He couldnt afford to pay both his mortgage payment, his car and his RV payment each month. While most people would have opted to go ahead and get rid of the extras, like the RV, Theo lost his home first, which was by no means a choice on his part. The RV was almost paid for anyway, but the new home that he had bought just a year before had turned out to be above his means. Being single and non attached, with no kids and scattered relatives across the country, he reasoned that perhaps the nomadic life might be the best one for him to experience right now. Rather than selling the RV and finding a new home or apartment, he began using the Local RV Storage that had housed his motor coach for so long as a home base for a while to see if nomadic living would be able to accommodate his needs.

After a few weeks, he was ready to take off and hit the road, wandering across the country, where he hoped to meet other people like himself who were looking to start something new, a Revolution, perhaps, in living below their means yet maintaining a life of freedom and mobility, even so. After two months and several temporary roadside and campground homes, Theo had met so many incredible people. He was more than amazed to find that there was a grassroots movement back towards sustainability that led right to the nomadic trail that he had been following. He had strong hands and a good set of skills from which he could earn a living wherever he happened to be, so money, though scarce, was not obsolete. Far more important than money, though, was Theos desire to become utterly free, in as many ways as he could. Freedom was something that he had taken for granted for far too long. He realized that his home had entrapped him, kept him from moving and living and meeting and enjoying all of the wonderful moments that life on the road has to offer. Theo knew that he was free, finally and responsible for his own outcome.

RV is an acronym for recreational vehicle. This is also known as a camper or motor home. RVs can be drivable or tow able and range in my sizes, shapes and colors. Many people like small campers in bright colors while others prefer larger campers such as a fifth wheel or drivable rv. They can choose them in ordinary neutral colors or class it up with darker colors and gold accents. Many recreational vehicle owners store their vehicles at their homes, in their garages or on the street, while others choose to store theirs in a local rv storage unit.

Campers and recreational vehicles can come with many amenities. What is standard on some campers may not be standard on others. Some have the basic appliances such as a stove, small fridge, toilet and shower. Other larger vehicles, however, may come equipped with microwaves, built in large screen television sets, bath tubs and many others. The more amenities a person has in their recreation vehicle the higher the purchase price will be.  When someone decides they want to buy a recreation vehicle they first need to make sure they have the funding. If necessary they will need to secure a loan with a financial institution and make payments to them. They could possible finance it through the recreation vehicle dealer. They will need to make sure they have a place to store their new camper. If they are unable to store it on their personal property they will need to contact a local rv storage facility.

Camping can be very beneficial to a persons health. In todays society so many people get caught up in the stress of everyday living that their bodies take a toll. Camping can help a person and a family relieves some of that stress, even if it is just for a short time. Camping helps people get back to the root of nature and living off of the land. It encourages families to talk to one another and to catch up on what is going on in their lives. It can also be very spiritual. Many people find that they regain their spiritual faith once they have escaped their busy lives and recaptured the beauty of the open land.

Most people own some sort of camping gear. For some, it may be a large rv or small pop up camper for others it may be a small tent and lantern. Many of these people have their gear stored away in local rv storage untouched and forgotten. Getting this gear out and experiencing an open camp fire or hike through the forest may be just what their busy minds and hearts need to refocus. Our society from small children on up is always on the go. Many people have stressful jobs with high mortgages. They dont have the time during their day to take a walk or read a book to their child. This can be very detrimental to their health. What they need to do at that point is pull their camping gear out of the local rv storage , pack up their family and head to the woods for a few days.

The last thing Todd wanted to do was to go to the local furniture storage to retrieve the Christmas ornaments. It was freezing outside, snowing and as far as he was concerned, too cold to get out and about. Janie, his wife, had insisted. She had a way of convincing him to do things that he didnt want to do, like buy floral print curtains for the dining room and paint the house light green. And now, he was driving in the snow to get the Christmas ornaments even though Christmas was still three weeks away.

He knew that the unit was going to be freezing cold, and he only hoped that the boxes he would be looking for were close to the front. He liked being a self storage customer, mind you, because he sure wouldnt want to have to trip over all of this stuff for the rest of the year, but why did she have to have it done today? Shaking his head at the ridiculousness of it all, he trudged inside, found the door to his unit and fiddled with the lock. Once he had gotten it off, he braced himself to be frozen to the bone yet again as he pushed it open.

Wow. He was shocked by just how pleasant it was inside. He had assumed that since it felt like ten below outside, that it would feel just as cold inside, but without the snow. Then he had remembered yet another thing that his wife had talked him into that he thought was ridiculous, temperature regulated storage. He had thought it would be a waste of money, but her insistence had paid off yet again. He had to admit, at least as far as the local furniture storage went, that it had been a good decision.

Hours later, watching the snow settle on the windowsill outside, beyond the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree, they sipped egg nog while listening to Christmas carols. Todd sighed. Did she always have to be right? he thought. He smiled and gave her a kiss under the mistletoe.

Trina had finally done it. She had moved the last of her boxes of belongings out of the local furniture storage unit that her parents had rented for the family almost fifteen years ago. Trinas fondest memories were contained within the boxes that were stacked all over her living room floor. Opening the boxes, one by one, Trina revealed the emotions and the sensations of the past. She was surprised at how perfectly sentimental everything still seemed to be to her.

Pulling out an old felt hat decorated with beads and pheasant feathers, a hat that she had found many years ago at a garage sale, she remembered every detail about that afternoon, and also about how she had pinned that vintage hat, complete with a tiny white veil, to her head every day for several weeks. Trinas mother finally had to insist that she not wear the hat in public anymore, but Trina had kept the hat on a shelf near her bed for many years as a teenager. When she moved out of the house at the age of eighteen, her mom had boxed up all of the things that were left in Trinas room and put them in the local furniture storage .

Poking through a worn and tattered looking box, Trina gasped as she uncovered one of her journals. She had though that shed packed them all when she left, and quite honestly, she hadnt even realized that it had been left behind. As she opened it, waves of memories and recollections hit her in a steady stream. She remembered writing about her first kiss at an amusement park by a boy she didnt even know who lived two hundred miles away.

They spent the entire day riding rides together, making awkward teenage conversation but enjoying each others company. They had decided to ride the cave ride, and Trina knew that if there were to be a kiss on that day, the cave was the place. And so it was. Memories of that precious moment swirled through her head, remembering the boy, who she had thought was so cute. They had been pen pals for several months after that fun day. She wondered briefly what he was doing now.

Hours passed by within what seemed to be minutes, and as Trina closed the last box of memories, she had felt like shed literally relived her childhood. she called her mom and they talked for a while, about first kisses and felt hats. It was a good day.

At last it was spring. The winter had been cold and icy, drawing Stacy inside without hesitation. She was not a lover of the cold, nor was she all that excited about snow, although she did enjoy the softness and silence that followed a snowfall. Now that spring had sprung, she was going to be able to get back outside and ride, walk, run, garden and play. One trip to the local furniture storage revealed her ten speed and air pump along with her bike tools. She was an avid biker, but she just disliked biking in the cold because it really messed with her breathing.

She had tried to ride in the cold, but she finally had to resign herself to the fact that at least for three months of the year, her bike was going to sit, dormant and unused, in the local furniture storage unit that she rented for extra space. The unit held her bike in the winter along with her camping equipment and some seasonal clothing. She had found all kinds of great uses for the space. Having such a tiny one bedroom apartment was advantageous because she could save her money to spend on other things that she really wanted, but she had no place to put things. Now, her bike came out and all of the blankets, sweaters and winter items went in. She was ready for spring, ready to ride, and ready to make the most of her local furniture storage unit once again.

Bill has been living at his parents house for his entire life. Bill has led a very sheltered life and has not done much for himself over the past eighteen years. He has found it comforting to rely on his parents for everything he has needed in his life until this point. It is time for Bill to move out of his home and start living on his own. Bill has accepted a job out of state and needs to make arrangements to have his things stored for a while until his new place is ready to move in to.

Bill got online and started trying to take care of everything he would need to before he started on his journey. He looked around for apartments but did not feel comfortable renting an apartment until he could find out what the route from work to home would be like. He decided to pack up a truck and start his move.

He loaded all of his possessions in to the truck and began the moving process. His parents let him take some of their old furniture with him so that he would not have to buy anything new. Bill found a place there that would accommodate his need for local car storage and he made a reservation before he arrived. He planned on putting his car in to local car storage while he got settled in. His plan is to ride his bike to and from work to keep miles off of his car.

Tristan turned off the light switch that controlled the fluorescent lights inside of her local furniture storage unit, having dropped of a delivery of vintage dresses and a circa 19402 bedroom set that she had found at an Estate sale this morning. There were some other treasures, as well, like a rare and very well preserved original blinking eye doll from the 70s. She rarely found one of those for so cheap, a steal at forty dollars. She dealt in vintage and antiques, and she spent part of every day looking and searching for wonderful treasures that she could sell for profit, making two people happy at once. Since shopping was Tristans favorite thing to do, it seemed like a natural fit to just do what she loved.

So, she would frequent Estate sales, auctions, garage sales and flea markets in search of the treasures that others overlooked in their haste. Then, when she had finished shopping for the day, she would take her new inventory to the local furniture storage , where she had a nifty little setup that was perfect for storing, pricing out and preparing her treasures for selling. Sometime she sold online at a storefront that she had created. Other times she would sell by consignment, and still other times she would barter, gift or trade her treasures. As long as the exchange left both parties mutually satisfied, she felt fine with it. Her local furniture storage unit was like an antique store, a veritable gold mine of memories, style, vintage flair and lots of chrome. How could she ever even think about doing anything else?
