It is almost Silas sixteenth birthday. He is excited about the fact that he thinks his parents are getting him his first car. His uncle John just bought a new car and when he asked him who he sold his old car to he stuttered and tried to make up a story. Silas was not buying it thought. He asked his parents what they were getting him but her mom would just smile really big and tell him that he would have to wait for his birthday to get here.

Silas had already snooped around the house to look for presents. He looked in his parents cars also. There were no boxes or things that looked like they could be his present.
