My daughter has an October birthday, so needless to say her party themes have always been Halloween based. I have so many ghosts, goblins and spooks stored in boxes that I could create my own haunted house. I was recently in my garage doing some reorganizing, when I noticed a strange bloody hand limply hanging down the side of a container. I am certainly glad I noticed it first, because it really looked as if I had killed someone and stashed them in my garage.

There has been the definite nip of Autumn in the air lately. We have had to close our windows at night and put on our jackets in the morning for the ride to work. I have a confession to make. I am totally addicted to fashion and gossip magazines. My father is the caretaker of all the antique heirlooms in our family.  These include a handcarved jewelry box made by my great great grandfather and and several items from turn of the century Scotland where my ancestors are from. I do not always recognize the person staring back at me when I look into the mirror. It seems when I went to bed last night I was twenty one years old and when i woke up I was thirty nine. I have decide to pull the exercise equipment out of storage , and get myself into shape. It will be a long hard road, but hopefully I will feel like my old self again.
