My family fried our first turkey this past Thanksgiving, and it was a wild success. We are going to do it again for Christmas and try some Cajun seasonings. I wish we had known that we could save and reuse the expensive peanut oil by filtering it and keeping it in big storage containers .

My father is the caretaker of all the antique heirlooms in our family.  These include a handcarved jewelry box made by my great great grandfather and and several items from turn of the century Scotland where my ancestors are from. I am sure before my father entrusts these things to my siblings and I he is going to want to know we have safe storage for all of these priceless items.
