If dogs could talk, chances are they would need self storage . They ALWAYS have bones to store, as well as trash and food. I guess you can say that the ground is a dogs storage unit. When they find something they want to keep, they dig a hole, or open up thier unit and put the things inside. Location is deffinatly important as well. You wouldn't want to store your precious bones next to a family of racoons or other thieving animals.
Technology has come a long way over the past 100 years. We have seen many inventions, both great and flawed. Sometimes, I wonder about self storage and her place in the future. Of course it will be necessary, unless we find a way to shrink our items. We have figured out how to shrink some things using large vaccum bags. In the future, we may still need storage for raw materials or machinery. Many people forget units are used for those items already.
