I have begun to wonder if storage units are really as safe as people say.  In the last few years, I have heard more and more reports of incidents at different facilities.  Most place have good security, so I'm not sure what the issue is.  I believe it might also be the economy.  As more and more people struggle, they turn to crime.

I think it is sad that some people try to live in their storage units . It scares me to think that when I go in to get to some of my things at night, there could be someone inside that might attack me. I believe there should be more security to prevent this from happening.

I have always wondered how many storage units out there accept packages and store them for you.  I know There are some, but I would think being able to do that would put you ahead of the competition.  People that are moving cross country would be able to ship their things which would save them a lot of time.
