When James and Layla bought their first house they wanted a fixer-uper. They wanted something that they could turn into something that represented who they were. For the past two years they have been renovating and remodeling each room.

They started with the bath rooms first, so they would have place to clean up. Next came the kitchen and dinning room. The living room and family room were next on the list to remodel. They were still deciding on what to do with the master bed room so they started on the guest room.

While they were remodeling each room they would clear it out and move everything into a Scarborough Local Storage unit while the remodeling was going on in that room. It was a great solution because they did not have to work around the furniture.

James and Layla were finally able to decide what to do with the master suite. It was a huge room so they decided to change the lay out a little. The bath room was already remodeled so that was one thing already done. They decided to expand the closet, and James hoped that he could actually get some room to hang up his clothes in there. Laylas one request was that they add a window seat to the bay windows. Since she was young she had dreamed of having a window seat.

In no time at all the renovations were complete and they moved their furniture back in from the Scarborough Local Storage unit. they were not quite sure what to do now that their house was completed, but they knew the first thing was going to be relaxing.

Travis wanted a new start to life. He was tired of living the same thing that he had done for the past fifteen years. When he graduated he got a job at a factory and tried to save up money for college. While he was there he met and fell in love with Jane. Instead of using the money for college he used it as a down payment for a house for them. He continued to work at the factory and was promoted. It was a decent living for him and Jane. They were happy and that was all that they needed.

When Jane was diagnosed with cancer five years ago it Travis tried to take care of her as best as he could. When she died two years ago he tried to keep on going as he was. He just could not keep up with his old life. He decided that he was going to start over in Scarborough. There was a factory there that had an opening. It was not as high up as he was now and it was less money, but Travis felt like it was the right decision for him.

He sold their house and rented an apartment in Scarborough. He just could not get rid of some of Janes things and so he rented a Scarborough Local Storage unit. He kept some of her things and some of the furniture that would not fit in the apartment into the Scarborough Local Storage unit.

He started his new job and worked on starting a new chapter for his life.
