It was Josh and Jessicas first Christmas together. Right after Thanksgiving they went out and bought a tree and all of the decorations that went with it. They bought decorations and lights and a little stuffed moose that Josh bought for Jessica. They spent the rest of the day decorating their apartment and it was a winter wonderland. That night they made hot cocoa and curled up on the couch together and watched a Christmas movie with nothing but the tree lighting the room. It was such a perfect night.

When the holidays were over they put all the ornaments back in their boxes. All of the lights were wrapped up neatly so that next year they would not have to spend house untangling them. The tree was taken down last and all of the boxes were sitting in the living room. As they looked at the boxes they realized that they had no where to put them. They were so excited about their first Christmas together that they did not think about where to keep the tree when it was not being displayed.

They tried to put it into the hall closet but it was too big. They decided to look into a Scarborough Local Storage unit that was close to their apartment. They just needed a five by ten Scarborough Local Storage unit to keep their boxes. It turned out to be the greatest idea because it was basically another closet space for them. They were able to get their decorations in and the extra boxes of things that were in the hall closet. It was a great storage solution.

After moving around when she was a little girl with her mother Kathy was happy to be settling down in one space. Growing up with just her and her mother had been one adventure after the other. Her mom would find them an apartment and they would stay there for a year or so. Then her Kathy would come home from school to find her mother packing and knew that they were moving on.

When Kathy went to college she had a hard adjustment period of staying in one spot for four years, but eventually she grew to love staying in one spot. When she graduated she decided that she was going to stay in town.

She moved out of the dorms and into an apartment with her friend. That lasted for a few years until her room mate got married. Now Kathy was on her own and loving it. She had a small one bedroom apartment but she liked having her own space. She rented a Scarborough Local Storage five by five unit to have extra space.

Her mom teased her when she would call saying that she was thinking about staying in one spot like her daughter. That maybe she would find a house of her own and rent a Scarborough Local Storage unit like her daughter. Put down roots and stay a while. Of course Kathy knew that she was just kidding. That in seven or eight months her mom would be packing. That was just how she was. Kathy however was content to stay in Scarborough for now.
