After youve reserved and signed the paperwork to your storage space it is easy to store your belongings. All you need to do is take the items you wish to store, pick them up and gently place them in a box or bag for transportation. Place said box or bag in a vehicle for transportation, or walk to the appropriate storage facility if you are close enough. Once at the facility use your PIN code to access the property and your lock key to unlock and access your individual storage space. From here all you need to do is place your belongings inside the space, shut and lock the door and exit the facility. Congratulations, youve now stored your belongings.
I need to park my truck somewhere for awhile while Im RVing this summer. I need a fairly small parking space since it is an older Toyota. I dont really need it to be covered in a garage, its been around the block a few times already. All I need is just a good location and some place that will keep it safe from theft. I think I finally found a storage facility that will meet my needs perfectly.
I once saw a storage facility called Super Vault Secure Storage . How ironic. As I drove past the facility I saw the driveway to the different spaces. I could drive up to any one of the spaces with no trouble at all. Even beyond the fact that there was no access controlled gate, or fence for that matter, there was also no evidence of any video cameras or alarms on the property. There were also only two flood lights working. This is why you should not try to find and store at the absolute cheapest facility. The quality usually matches the price.
I once needed to store a car in a storage facility for a little while. It was fairly painless. I could have gotten a covered garage style space but instead I rented an outdoor parking space for an incredibly low rate. They also happened to have a move in special they gave me, its as if they don't like making money. Since the car was in working condition all I had to do to store the car was have it licensed and insured in my name and store it with a quarter tank or less of gasoline. The only real restriction was that I could not work on the vehicle on the property, but I guess thats still pretty reasonable.
Storage spaces are great places to store your furniture, odds and ends from around the house, a vehicle or pull behind trailer. Some things you would not be able to store are plants, animals and perishable goods. Storage facilities are simply not suited for these types of belongings on their property due to the enviromental variables and the needs required to properly care for such things. Also non working vehicles are unable to be stored, as they will usually require work to be done on the property which simply cannot be allowed. Also exercise caution in storing priceless art and jewelry. Always exercise common sense, although safe, a storage facility is not a vault, pet daycare, food pantry, greenhouse or car repair shop.
