If you have pets like me, then you probably have to go through furniture more often than a household without pets. Basically it is the same mindset as for those with children. Pets make so many messes and the horrible part is they do not know they did anything wrong. My dog Jupiter is a Great Dane and one of the worst things he does is drool. It is always worse right after he drinks water. Just imagine a horse with Niagra Falls coming out of his mouth and that is my dog. It gets on the furniture, it gets on me, and I have even managed to find a couple spots on the ceiling.
Anyway, needless to say the furniture needs to be replaced for bio hazardous materials. So what I do, since I like the furniture to match somewhat, is to buy a piece at a time and store them in a furniture storage until I have a full set. Unfortunately I cannot afford to get a whole set at one time so piece by piece works for me. Then I take out the old, bring in the new, and wait a year. Then rinse and repeat.
If you look in the phone book or yellow pages for storage, you will see the many different creative ways that companies label themselves. At first glance, mini storage seems like an impracticality for many people looking to put their stuff in a safe place. It implies a small space that might be great for tooth picks, micromachines, and maybe some marbles and not so great for furniture or anything else. Maybe I read in too much to words?
