Its that time of year again where people are going to be calling to get storage for their goodies they will be purchasing for Christmas.  It really is a good idea especially if your kids are as nosey as mine.  I can not hide anything from them.  I have been creative in the past but as they get older that gets a little harder!

Living in todays world most any business would benefit from having their own website.  Its your own little advertising spot.  Only the thing is if no one knows you have one then no one can go to the website.  You have to advertise that like you would your storage .  Put the web address on a billboard if thats the way you are advertising your storage.  Although it should be as easy as typing in a name in a search engine sometimes thats not the way it happens, because you get everything related to one word. 

So Halloween was this past saturday.  I know we have a good stockpile of halloween costumes that we could possibly put in storage and possibly use next year.  So many different costumes from two kids.  My son was actually a ninja last year and guess what he wanted to be this year, yep another ninja but it had to be different.

Storing your car for the winter is nothing new to the Canadian storage industry.  Every winter almost guarantees there will be someone looking to get their car into storage for the winter.  With the snow coming its almost a given that someone would need a storage unit to store their car for the winter.

Well working in the storage business gives me a whole new perspective on alot of different subjects associated with storage . Most of the time people that call in do not know a whole lot about storage.  Then other times we have what I like to call a seasoned storage veteran.  One who knows everything there is to know about storing.

Its crazy the things you can find at a storage auction.  Once a person has defaulted on payment of their unit it gets set up for auction.  I had heard about the auction from a friend but I wasnt able to attend.  But apparently she received some pretty cool stuff for little money.
