Crystal was having a great holiday. She was spending Christmas with her fiancé and his family. They had made her feel like such a part of their family.

Her own mother had passed away four years ago leaving her broken. Her soon to be mother in law was such a nice lady. She had helped heal crystal a little. Growing up her dad was gone more than he was around, and she loved the fact that her father in law to be was there every night for dinner and family games. Being an only child Crystal did not know what it was like to have a brother or sister. With her fiancé having a bother and his wife she got to know what it was like to have siblings.

After Christmas time was over Crystal was moving in with her fiancé. The wedding was six months away but her lease was up on her apartment and she decided to move now. They were going to be sharing his one bedroom apartment until his lease was up at the end of the year. Then they were going to try to find something bigger.

For most people our regular access  hours are 6am to 9pm, are great times for people to get in and out of our facility. There is little quarrel with our access hours or other amenities that we have. Our facility is outstanding and we as managers here are pleased to say we value each and every potential customer and their belongings. We convey those thoughts to each person that inquires about our storage facility.

My sister and I drug our men to a Broadway play this weekend. (Joel would never admit it, but he secretly likes Broadway)

She and I like to get all dolled up and go to the The Fabulous Foxx Theatre a few times a year. Nothing that particularly struck our interest was playing for a while, so we just decided to see Hairspray.

We went all out and bought new dresses for the occassion, and of course, New SHOES. (Joel frowned at this because my shoe storage reached capacity several stilettos ago)

We did not really want to see that play, but we really wanted to go somewhere nice, and the Foxx is our favorite place. Our mistake was when we revealed to the men that we were not very excited about the play itself, but rather the night out,. They gave us a lot of grief about dragging them to see Hairspray.

But, the play was WAY better than I had anticipated, and even the boys agreed it was entertaining and funny.

It was Kaylas first day off in a week. She was going to try to get as much done today as she could. She had written everything down and was working through her list. She had already gone down to her Calgary Local Storage unit and picked up boxes and packing supplies. It was only three weeks until she was moving into a bigger and better apartment.

It was on the other side of town and was in a nicer neighbor hood and had better amenities. She was excited about the move. During the summer Tina and her family pretty much lived outside. Her children would run around the yard playing games or swimming in the pool. She would spend hours out there with them reading or working from the deck. Her husband cooked on the grill at least three times a week. Summer time was the best time of the year. Of course the kids liked it because they did not have to go to school, but Tina liked it because they got to spend more time as a family.

They had a great summer together that year. It was starting to get colder though. In the morning it took a few hours for the sun to warm them and at night when the sun was going down it was cold. The kids were getting ready to go back to school next week and Tina was trying to get them school supplies and some new clothes. Soon it would be back to football practice for one child, and dance rehearsal for another. Homework time after dinner and not much time spent together.

The first day that Tina woke up to a frost on the ground she knew that it was time to find a Calgary Furniture Storage unit for the winter. Because I only have one car, the thought of where to keep my car when I'm not using it has never crossed my mind. Because many neighborhoods frown upon a junky look, these people need to find a solution for their vehicle overpopulation. A good idea would be to use car storage to keep the vehicles out of sight, but not out of mind.

When it comes time to move, it seems that a lot of people go through a mad scramble to get boxes to pack their belongings. In order to save money, many people dumpster dive to obtain these cardboard marvels for free. However, it is best to purchase boxes. When you buy cardboard containers, you know that it is specifically designed for this purpose as well as knowing its structural integrity is intact.

Joel and I are having a "Date Night" tonight. Of course, it includes watching the new Transformers movie, which brings me to another topic - Grown Men Having Toys.

My husband puts on a professional, mature persona, but underneath there is a boy who really thinks the missing All Spark will bring his electronics to life. It is kind of cute to watch him play transformers with the boys (until they try to touch his prized autobot and he gets territorial).

While it is fun to watch all my boys play transformers together, making the transforming sounds and pretending to battle, it leaves a mess. Inevitably, they will move on to something else, and when they do - there lay the transformers in the floor.

My solution was a simple plastic tote with a snapping lid. It makes wonderful toy storage and keeps them out of the way. (This solution also keeps those ugly things off my shelves - where Joel would like to put them on display - NO WAY)

Moving boxes are usually a must have when making large or small moves. They are a real help when organizing and sorting your things. They hold up well and could be reused for many things around the house. If not they are 100 percent Recycleable which makes them enviorment friendly. Kids also like to play in them.

So I found out today that I sound like that I am from Canada. I had no idea is sounded Canadian, I always thought I sounded more southern than anything. I purchased a brand new snow blower before winter so I would not have to shovel my drive way anymore. The only problem I have with it is that it is really big and it takes up a lot of room in my garage and I can not park my second car in the garage. I need to find storage somewhere so it is not in my garage this summer when I do not need it. I think a drive up storage space would work best for me because it is so big and it would be hard to get it inside.

Getting the right size unit may be one of the most important aspects of renting a storage space . Getting a unit can be confusing for someone who has never done it before.  When a customer is calling around to different places they may be getting prices for different sizes without even realizing it.  When you call a storage place, be sure to ask what size you are getting price quotes for so you can compare them to other places you have called.

I thought that by the time I would be twenty eight I would have a lot more time to do the things that I want to do. I love to talk about boxes to customers all day, but that is not all that I have to do. I have to go to school and study, as well. Oh well, at least when I have a family it will be even more hectic.

The term outdoor storage does not necessarily conjure up a great image in my mind. I just picture a field with stuff on it. But this type of storage could go in a couple of different directions, at least from my experience. Some facilities refer to units that you can drive up to as outdoor. Not only are the automobiles getting smaller, packaging at the grocery stores is getting smaller, and the space in which people can afford to live is also getting smaller. Give us a generation or two, and caskets will be getting smaller also to accommodate the down sizing of the American people as a whole.

Kayla loved her grandma Alma, but she was very stubborn. She liked to get everything her way, and she would let you know if she was not happy. Some people thought that she was hard to get along with, but the truth of the matter is she was old and did not care what others thought of her.

When Kayla got the call that Alma was in the hospital she rushed right over to see what had happened. Her grandmother was giving the hospital staff a hard time saying that she was fine and could go home now. Kayla tried to calm her down and tried to find out what was wrong with her. It turned out that she had fallen and broken her hip. She was going to need surgery and rehabilitation.

Kayla knew that she could not live alone while she was unable to get around. She knew that she was not going to be able to take care of her because she lived in a small apartment up four flights of stairs and while she was at work Alma would be there alone.
She knew that her grandmother was not going to like being put in a nursing home for rehab, but she was going to have to accept it.

Kayla got her neighbors to keep an eye on the house, and she would check on it every other day herself. Kayla took her grandmothers car down to a Scarborough Car Storage unit. I bought some mangos on sale at the grocery store yesterday and had the ripest one for lunch today. They are just yummy - every bite tastes like sunshine. I have no idea what season is mango season, so when they stop appearing on the produce shelves, I will be pretty sad. I wish there were a way to keep mango in storage all winter long - I would stockpile them to eat one everyday.

I guess it is like they say The Grass (or in this case, the mango) Is Greener On The Other Side.

Well well well here we are again. You know with the boat load things that i think about and that stay on my mind I wish that there was some way to keep track of it all. From bills to work to just the everyday frustrations of life. There should be some sort of cheap storage to give me some reliefe. I could just take all the things that i dont wanna think about and throw them in and lock them away.   Thats what i wish i could do.

Nobody likes being surprised about the cost of something, especially hidden fees. Think about it. You expect a certain price and you have committed yourself to it. My second job has about fifty pianos of various designs and sizes in storage. Everthing from a little spinnet to full grand pianos. They are all in various degrees of disrepair, some we will actually be dropping off at the dump, but the majority are being moved to our brand new climate controlled industrial sized storage space.

I am excited to finally have the pianos in a space where we will actually be able to reach them, and they will not have to be packed so tightly. This will make things a lot easier for the movers as well as the piano repairmen. I am looking forward to the added efficiency this new state of the art storage unit will provide.

I really need to practice playing my instruments a lot more than I do. The only issue is I dont have the space to set up my drums or space for my friends instruments with room for them to play. I think I may just take out a storage space to practice jamming in with my buddies. I have a 5 piece drum set, one of my friends has a keyboard and my other friend has an electric guitar. I have heard that several storage facilities allow certain particular spaces for bands or musicians to practice in. This would be the perfect solution for me and my bandmates. The other day, I think it was last Friday, a young man called to get prices on a self storage unit .  I told the young man that I would need to get some information from him in order to give him a quote on a unit that would meet his needs.  The first question I asked, concerned when he would need the unit, but the answer is not relevant to this story.  The second question is relevant.  I asked him what he would be storing with us.  Comic books, he replied.

There are several reasons why a person would be interested in a self storage auction. It is actually the perfect place to resell these items because you have a wide range of shoppers who are looking for something that could be as small and inexpensive as a keychain to the larger and higher ticket items such as a living room set.

Cheap storage can be enticing to renters who are looking to spend as little money as possible, but cheap storage is not always the best way to go. When shopping around for storage a customer wants to make sure that they are getting the best overall value possible for their money. This means that you want to make sure that security is top notch as well as making sure that the price is good. If you do not get good security, then what is the point of paying for storage. So make sure that you do your homework when shopping around, and do not always look for cheap storage, but look for the best value possible out of the storage situation.

I do not have room for a 50-foot inflatable bounce house-obstacle course-slide Tyrannosaurus in my basement.

You may be wondering why anyone would need a gigantic dinosaur and how one could come across such a monstrosity. Well, you can actually rent such a beast.

My husband and I checked out the cost of renting a T-Rex for my two young sons Birthday Party this weekend. The cost is a lot higher than what I was guessing, so I am debating the rental fee versus a few extra dollars to buy something similar myself.

Of course, I could not buy a 50-foot T-Rex. Where would I keep him? And how much food does a dinosaur eat anyway? Ok, that was a bad joke, but seriously there is no extra storage space in my garage as it is, so purchasing a HUGE dinosaur is out of the question, even if the cost of buying is about the same as renting.

I can see how these rental businesses can quickly turn around and make a profit, but how much demand is there for overgrown lizards?

Perhaps I will start a side business purchasing huge items and offering them for rent in my local community. I could rent a storage unit to keep them. Anyone could do the same by renting a London storage unit or unit from wherever your local self storage community may be.

I just got a call from a guy in Edmonton that needs cold storage .  He wants to store cheese.  I explained that we do have climate controlled, but that is not going to work for him.  We had a good laugh when we talked about the storage unit being seventy five degrees in the summer.  His cheese would turn into a science experiment.

When we move we will have to get some moving boxes to put our things in so that everything will be secure and safe. This move is going to be a little hard because I will be pregnant and I may not be able to carry a lot of things.

In our area, we find that many people have different storage needs. That is completely fine with us because we know how to take care of all the needs that come our way. We actually like the challenge of being able to serve a wide range of people and their situation. We try to understand every part of what the caller needs in effort to see what we can do to help.

So I recently have started to go around to storage auctions to turn a profit.  The latest steal I got a 10x10 for 300 dollars and it was filled with baseball cards, an old bike, some old furniture, and a unicorn!  This is my new best friend I even named him Enrique my magical unicorn. Enrique is a great best friend because he lets me ride him around whenever I want.  I don't understand why anyone would leave a young unicorn alone in a storage unit for so long.

Santa Clause and his Reindeer are really just long distance movers . We are having diner with Christine and her fiance, and then we are going to be watching the christmas carol in 3D. Dont know where we are going to be going for diner, but I hope that my storage sales can pay for it.

It is not every day that a customer wants to use us for their Toronto car storage and for their household storage needs.  The caller could have decided to us again because we have treated them well from the beginning and told them what to expect. From the moment we invited them in for a visit, they made us their home storage facility.

It was Josh and Jessicas first Christmas together. Right after Thanksgiving they went out and bought a tree and all of the decorations that went with it. It was the same every year. Each year Brad would dig the Christmas tree and decorations out from under the stairs. When Christmas was over Brad would drag the boxes back to the crawl space. It seemed that each year when it was time to bring out the Christmas boxes there were a pile of boxes in front of the crawl space and he would have to clear an isle to get to the crawl space.

This year he decided it was his last year of spending half an hour clearing out the garage so he could get to the decorations. He decided that they needed more storage space. Andy would have to be in charge of moving and decorating. Halley was under strict orders to not exert herself. This does make the calls a lot shorter but makes it to where I take about twice the calls with no one renting from me. Which is okay because at least I am helping them in some way.

That makes the people that store with us very happy that we do not allow just anyone to walk through our gate.

We have all kinds of sizes that range from the size of a small half bathroom all the way up to a over sized two car garage. So when someone says that they want something like an average bedroom, we can say that we have it. When someone says that they need Toronto car storage, we say that we have many other amenities. It is true that we do not have Toronto car storage , but we can assist a potential customer in so many other ways. Hopefully the customer will see this fact and decide to rent with us anyway. Snow has come and now I need to get my snow mobile out of storage. I got auto storge last year to store my snow mobile during the summer. There is no use to have my snow mobile in my way in the garage when I do not need it so auto storage is perfect for it.

If you are about to make a big move I would suggest looking into truck rental as a way to make it easier.  This will allow you to make less trips and by doing that making it easier.  I would check on the internet for different truck rental options.  This should be a great way to look for the best rate on a truck.  I would even look into move in specials for storage that offer a free truck as an option.

My closet is the most crowd thing you have ever seen. so my husband decided while moving to get rid of all my shoes that i have not worn in 2years or more. That of course hurt my heart i was so sad about that. But we came to a conclusion that he would buy me more shoes for everyone that was thrown away. So IM HAPPY
